Hello! I hope everyone is having a great summer thus far. We are having a great time at LaserUniversity. Many of you don't know but I (Kathryn) am based in San Diego and I work from home. Mike recently was able to get a laser engraving machine for me! When I lived in Phoenix (home of LaserU/LaserBits) it was easy to engrave - just go to work! But since I moved a year ago I have had to send Mike my files to engrave. Now I have my own (loaner) machine in my garage. What fun!

Laser Spotlight

Each month we will showcase an item, product or skill from LaserU. We will give a summary of the item and provide links for more information. This month we will look at the Photo Frame Template CD from our Project Center.

The new CD by LaserBits contains over 20 different templates that are usable in all 4 alder wood frame sizes and in both horizontal and vertical orientation.

• RED:  designates the area the product will take up in your engraver – the outline.
• BLUE:  indicates the area to include your personalized text and in some cases a graphic, such as a logo. Make sure to include your text or graphic within this blue box. If you engrave outside the blue lines you will be engraving in an area that is not meant to be engraved in.
