Learning Curve
There are projects that we would have otherwise turned away, if it hadn't been for the fact that LaserU was there to help us thru some of those tricky techniques. LaserU, definitely keeps us from learning the hard way.

I purchased my laser from a bank repo. I knew almost nothing about a laser and knew nothing on how to operate it. I connected with Laser U and had my laser running in 15 minutes. I was greatly pleased with their info on starting a project on my new laser.

I am a new user and LaserU has been the best source of information out there. Lots of people trying to sell the machines, but little help learning how to actually make the product hence profits. And that's what it is really all about. Thanks for all the help.

When I first obtained my laser I thought everything was going to be so easy. But, as soon as I started I found out that there was going to be a major learning curve. I signed up for LaserU and I began doing completed projects that would sell. LaserU has taught me so much in such a short amount of time that I don't know where I would be without them. I skipped a year of trial and error and went directly to beautiful work from the very first day. Thanks LaserU!

LaserU was instrumental in our new engraving business hitting the ground running. Within 48 hours of installing our machine we were making product. The ability to backtrack to a previous lesson is especially helpful.

I am not an engraver and within the first 10 lessons I understand how my laser works and how to run my laser. I feel better about buying my laser with LaserU on my side. I needed a lot of help to get started and LaserU was there to help me. You can count on help with this team. They will work your problems out for you. They are a team you count on.

For someone who has purchased a laser machine and really did not know much about it, Laser U is a must!!! I personally do not know what I would have done without it. Plus their customer service is great, something you do not see most places nowadays.

I am part of a small business in a high school. The students have to learn to use the laser and Corel to be able to make the business work. The students have some great ideas but then I have to get them into DRAW and then to the laser. I use LaserU to teach my students all of this. I would be lost without it. Every time I have called with a question it has been answered. They have worked with me on any problems I have had to make a successful project.

We live 1000 and 2000 kilometres from the nearest people that will and can help us with laser questions/problems and find the LaserU my best access to help especially with the time zone difference. At times I have been online looking or reading a subject and Kathryn has answered my email within minutes even though we are time zones and continents apart. It's great to have someone practically looking over your shoulder and giving you personal help.

Although I have been using laser engraving as a major part of my art work for many years particularly in relation to photographic engraving, I have found the LaserU to be a great source of information, both academic and technical. Email communication with Kathryn at LaserU has been very supportive and encouraging. I look forward to the LaserU going on from strength to strength, as a great information and learning source for both the practicing professional and the newcomer to the art.

LaserU Vs. Workshops & cost
I have been subscribing to LaserU for several months and what I have learned is much better than any seminars and trainings I have attended. Whenever I have specific questions or issues, I have always been able to contact LaserU and get the help I need. This has given me a lot of confidence to try new things with my laser.

I am very happy with my subscription to Laser U. The laser I purchased does not have enough to bring a new user up to speed on how to use it with all of the different substrates available. It is difficult to know where to start. Though the seminars I have been to are helpful but by the time you get home you have forgotten most of the information you were given. With Laser U I can go back through the information repeatedly if I need to. Sometimes I go back and take a refresher course before I start a job that I don't do frequently. I definitely would recommend it to anyone, especially if they are new to laser engraving, like myself.

To leave town to attend a big convention for training, information and purchasing would cost us a few thousand dollars just in airfare/transportation. Therefore, LaserU is a potential resource as valuable to us as a backyard emerald mine.

I have gone to many of the seminars put on in my area. But there is nothing like having it laid right out for you when you are doing that certain product and just can't remember how to set the speed or power on your laser or what steps to mark tools with CerMark or just any process you might need. I have made notebooks with info from LaserU and the newsletters from LaserBits. It is the best investment I have made for my business.
Thank you LaserBits,

LaserU is for Experienced Users
While watching these great videos on producing bar codes, I was made aware that CorelDraw has built-in bar code objects. I've been using CorelDraw since version 2.0 and never realized it. LaserU has enabled me to become an expert laser engraver very quickly.

After watching the LaserU introduction video I thought I'd give it a try. Despite being in the industry for 25 years and having had lasers for some time, my expectations were met and I still realize there is more to be learned. So thanks to the folks at LaserU for offering such a comprehensive and well thought out program.

LaserU is my favorite learning style. I am drinking in the information, preserving it and practicing it. I am not just a novice to laser engraving but certainly not an expert. The material is addressing a lot of my needs. This is superior to one day workshops. It is not an information overload. I can control the learning pace and it is at home. Keep up the good work.

I started from the beginning and did lesson by lesson. The best part was I learned how to set up and use my laser and had sample products to show my customers. Some of the projects I had no idea I could do on my laser. I feel now that I have made an excellent investment in my laser.

I have a new Laser Engraving company and a personal background that compliments the business even though I have no prior experience in Lasers or Engraving. On one of my earlier jobs, the customer had requested some "front panels" for electronic equipment. Rowmark was the product of choice but my first experience with the substrate was giving less than desirable results. After spending several hours of trial and error on my own, I signed up for LaserU. Literally, in five minutes, I was able to look up the information and produce a perfect product for the customer.

LaserU has taught me to use my laser. I got little training from my sales rep. You know once the sale is made. I am a hobbiest and now have worked all but one of the lessons. I have made many gifts and projects from the lessons I show off. I now have people that want to pay me for some of the projects I have done. LaserU has provided the training and confidence that I can do these projects without errors. It has opened my imagination to what is possible that I would not have known about or how to do.

Renewing
I have used rotary engraving for years but last year upgraded to laser. I joined initially for the settings calculator as I was having a terrible time and could not find help anywhere. It has proven to be very beneficial to me. I plan on using my subscription to really educate myself on lasering. So much so I just renewed my subscription for 3 years.

LaserU is not a one-time addition to my business. At this point, it is fair to say that the course is answering questions I didn’t know I had. I found that the lesson lengths are very conducive to learning; not too long. I would say that they’re in “bite size” pieces, which makes going back to the previous lesson easier. Second, the Corel© lessons are concise for the applications. i.e. Course 3; Lesson 3: Since I travel a lot, I made luggage tags straight from the lesson! Thank you once again for all the work that went into this; it’s worth it to a beginner like me.

LaserU is so important to my business. I do a lot of different engraving because I have a website, do a lot of fairs, put a lot of my products in different stores, and make signs for summer residents for their campus. I will get an idea and I can go to LaserU to check out how to make it happen.
Thanks LaserU!

I find it difficult to find information or laser training other than LaserU...Its so helpful in my work alone situation..trial and error as we all know can get very expensive...A free moment in my day is rare and the lessons are fast and easy. Being able to reread is great, seldom used information needs to be reviewed at times.. [The videos] are great and reading along with them makes learning faster and more complete...

Being a newcomer to the laser engraving industry, I found there is somewhat of a learning curve attributed to the process. I signed up with LaserU which has been great. The online instruction programs are well laid out and real world examples. The training course starts off by explaining how a co2 laser works and then progresses to several blocks of construction on Corel Draw, and then applies this knowledge to working with a variety of substrates. Another feature that I really liked was the instructor shows you several different ways to accomplish tasks such as shortcut keys and the traditional method. I have found that LaserU has been very beneficial for me and has helped lessen that dreaded learning curve. Another useful feature is the engraving calculator which gives you speed and power settings for different substrates based on your machine. I highly recommend this program.
Sincerely,
