Things to keep in mind:

Hello! I have had some emails regarding engraving photos using X5. There is an easy to fix setting to blame! Its default settings are different than any prior version. X5 is currently set to CMYK and not RGB like it used to be. Our lasers are better able to process RGB and programs like PhotoGrav work in RGB. You may be thinking, "CMYK and RGB are codes for colors and lasers don't engrave in color." This is true, but even the values for black and white differ between CMYK and RGB.

There is an easy fix! Just complete these 4 steps to better engraving results using X5.
